Aesthetic

The films look is an important part of its comedic device. I want the kind of aesthetic found in Shrek where modern commerce and activities are represented in its medieval equivalent. The film Shrek has a medieval representation of modern places such as Far Far Away being an interpretation of Hollywood. It also does it with activities, language and commerce within classic fairy-tale tropes and aesthetics. I was trying to do this kind of thing by including modern day language and ideas like clubbing, STD clinics and stereotypes such as nerds, Donald Trump-like millionaires and controlling mothers all in a fairy-tale context.
